Old East Jerusalem To Be Rebuilt - The Jerusalem Marshall Plan

Jerusalem's Marshall Plan – Why Now?

With an estimated budget of $50 million the plan is supposed to change the face of eastern Jerusalem, which until now has been largely neglected.

Among the main elements of the program will be the development of eastern Jerusalem's main business center through the encouragement of tourism, cultural activities, education, commerce and housing projects. Infrastructure will be upgraded, public gardens created and streetlights erected.

Sounds good? Not to all.

It seems there are many skeptics around, including intellectuals, members of the opposition in the Jerusalem municipality, and people in the street. Some question the timing of the announcement; some say it is simply a gimmick that will never be implemented.

Worldwide Christian Community Leaders Ask For Muslim Forgiveness

2TIM 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

2TIM 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

2TIM 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

JOEL 3:1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

JOEL 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

JOEL 3:3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink

The Crucial Implementation Period Will Be Defined in Annapolis

My Opinion-

The Crucial Implementation Period

Will Be Defined
in
Annapolis

Dates for the Stages
of
Dividing The Land Will Be Unveiled

Why I believe This Will Take Place

From Javier Solana's EU Action Strategy in Annapolis, "The EU considers that the present opportunity (Annapolis) should not be missed and is ready to take its responsibilities, in accordance with the vital European interests involved. The EU is therefore committed to supporting current efforts in a serious and substantive way, offering a comprehensive and coherent contribution to the process, including during the crucial implementation period".

Have no doubts in regards to Tuesday's Annapolis Summit in Maryland.
The dates for the stages of an Israeli-Palestenian Two State Solution will occur.
It would be to your benefit to let it start sinking in now (Sunday November 25, 2007).

As Javier Solana's transitive verb in the quoted text above states, implementation means to accomplish and carry out. It will be viewed from a Global perspective as a SUCCESS to the beginning stages of Peace In The Middle East.

The Arab Peace Initiative, strengthened by Saudi-German relations, will successfully achieve the desired results which will take on an 60 year historical precedent, and by others, an historical beginning/finality to 2000+ years of war in the Middle East.

President Bush will have added the Ultimate Trump Card to his legacy and will more than likely propel his "Christian" Republican party legacy into the next Presidency. Hillary and Obama will probably pale to the side as the opposition voice in the Democratic parties.

Now why would I believe any of this to take place?

Why should I offer conjecture in the face of the MAJORITY that is viewing this as anything but a COMPLETE FAILURE.

Here's Why:

#1. The Mediterranean Countries
that signed the ENPI 7 Year Agreement are complying
#2. Syria will now be at Annapolis
#3. The up-rooting of the Jewish Settlers Has Already Begun - The Golan Heights on the agenda
#4. The Voices of War are being taking out of the picture - Hamas, Sharon etc
#5. Many agree Annapolis as the starting point "process" as the Launching Pad
#6. Annapolis has backing along with prayer from The Vatican
#7. Germany, as a key financial player, is ready to back up Annapolis
#8. Condoleezza Rice does not see Annapolis as "peace talks" but rather as "her baby" and as
a "very big step forward"
#9. The terror alert in Jerusalem has passed - Middle East Peace moves forward
#10. President Bush will be heralded as launching Peace in the Middle East
#11. Lebanon will be at Annapolis
#12. History is in the making and one Israeli says you can make money from it
#13. This will form the biggest opposition to Russia
#14. Olmert and Abbas' relationship strongly surpasses first hurdle
#15. East Jerusalem decision will be the show stopper
#16. Israeli Ambassador to Russia says Annapolis will inaugurate negotiations
#17. Majority of Evangelical Christians are focused on everything BUT Annapolis and Israel

Now, as all of this may seem like BIG speculation on my part, of particular interest is point #17.

Many Independent Bible Prophecy Christians such as myself have witnessed a major shift away from Israel, Bible Prophecy, let alone anything remotely related to the Middle East other than getting cheaper gasoline here in the U.S. for their Big SUV's.

Yet, although the Vatican has issued a call to prayer specifically in regards to Annapolis, it is the majority of Evangelical Christians that find themselves unaware that they are caught in a new age of spirituality that is moving them away from Bible Prophecy and Israel.

As the spiritual global paradigm shift continues its course in the world it's influence in the church was long ago foretold. Most recently caught early on by such courageous investigators like Constance Cumbey and Herb Peters, its relentless pace quickens and is sometimes difficult to see or understand. As evident at this interfaith prayer in Annapolis a spiritual connectedness grows.

Although many from both camps and visitors to this blog may not totally agree with my synopsis of the upcoming Annapolis meetings it is worth noting that Constance Cumbey foresaw this from as early on as the 1980's and documented it in 1994-5.

So without further opinions on Annapolis from this writer please enjoy and consider Constance's observations.

Could I be wrong in my ideas on Annapolis?
Absolutely YES!
But if not, then we may have a bigger problem to deal with than we thought.
Don't forget to share your thoughts on any of this by posting a comment.

MY 1995 PERSPECTIVE ON THE NEW WORLD RELIGION

THE NEW WORLD RELIGION?

Cleaning house and discovering my old papers and scribblings can sometimes be fun. I discovered the New Age Movement in 1981 and first started sounding alarms on it then. Between 1982 and 1989 it became my major occupation. In December, 1988, I returned to my former law practice, but still maintained my relentless examination of the New Age Movement and related religious apostasies. I noticed in 1994 that confusion, even among cult-watchers was growing. My now decesed good friend, , Liz Collins, urged me to compose a summary of what I then perceived. I did and gave it to her. I recently found a copy of it. I gave it to Liz Collins on December 12, 1994. That was when we were both busy fighting the Dr. Kevorkian/Euthanasia battles which are an important components of the "death and dying" ("Death, the Next Great Adventure") of the New Age Movement. I have decided to share it with NEWSWITHVIEWS.COM readers as well as my blogspot participants. Here it is and I will value your feedback. You are free to reprint it, but please give credit to its source, yours truly! Supplemental to , this is the concomitant development of a “global ethic” which is also being pursued by the New World Religion proponents, including but not limited to Dr. Hans Kung. Also to be considered are the obvious earth worship approaches being advanced to gain human consensus over “care for the Earth.” Also not as obvious to me when I wrote this was the increasing aggression of anti-clerical, atheistic forces, such as Richard Dawkins and Sam Harrison exemplify.

1. New Agers believe recognition of cults and their dangers, spiritual hunger, and conflict in the human family. See Alice Ann Bailey, THE REAPPEARANCE OF THE CHRIST, Chapter 6, pages 147-155.

2. They will then explore religious facts we can AGREE upon.

3. The fact of GOD will be universally agreed upon.

4. “Karma” and semantic various upon it will be increasingly expressed. In western religion it will be based upon “Whatsoever a man soweth, that will he also reap. (Galatians 1:7). This may be alternatively expressed as “the law of cause and effect”; “The Law of Reciprocity” (Pat Robertson); “The Law of Rebirth,” depending on beginning religious orientation and the presentation and/or presenter, i.e. the target audience.

5. CONTINUITY OF REVELATION will be stressed. This should be carefully considered in view of Catholic debates over SOLA SCRIPTURA and Protestant presentations of “BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT” and/or “WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE.” Traditional careful tests of what is and what is not of God will be largely abandoned in hunger for “NEW REVELATION,” “SIGNS AND WONDERS, etc., abandoning past caution and careful caution of all such claims.

6. Doctrine of AVATARS or continuing “saviors” will be tied in with stress upon spiritual hunger of man and man’s reaching out to God. Supposedly, God will respond with new messengers.

7. Man will be given an expectancy that another great REVELATION is on its way from an all caring God.

8. This new REVELATION will prove the “truth” of the IMMANENCY OF GOD (“God within”).

9. We will also be told that God is TRANSCENDENT. This is so we will look outside for NEW REVELATION. People who restrict themselves to Biblical verification and/or consistency (God can speak anytime, anywhere, but internal consistency is a test of authenticity -- the Holy Spirit never contradicts himself) will be increasingly marginalized – inside and outside the Church.

10. A SCIENCE of prayer and worship will be stressed. Cf. CONCERTS OF PRAYER for Evangelicals; “Centering Prayer” and “Renewal” for Catholics, Lutherans and Episcopalians; TRIANGLES, “Meditation Groups”, etc., for New Agers groups and activities such as “Triangles,” Praying will rough this is a belief in the establishment of THE KINGDOME OF GOD ON EARTH as be done according to a FORMULA and/or “altered state” process.

11. Hovering all through this is a belief in the establishment of THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH as “GOD REALIZED” peoples manifest “Christ,” “God,” “The Holy Spirit,” or their various New Age “walk-ins” inside themselves as they increasingly absorb all of the above.

12. Astrology will be HARMONIZED with the Bible and “Bible Study.” Historical investigation will “reveal” that actually it is a “Godly ting.” Cf. Prophecies in stone, some Protestant teachings that actually astrology stood for the twelve apostles,” “12 tribes of Israel, etc.”

13. Throughout all of this the watchwords will be DIALOGUE and UNDERSTANDING. There will be presentations through CROSS CULTURAL MINISTRIES, and the Missionary Process itself will be largely subverted in the interests of liberty to teach to indigenous peoples by stressing commonality with the native religions rather than a simple presentation of the Gospel.

14. CONNECTEDNESS and GROUP EXERCISES to make people feel CONNECTED will be increasingly stressed. Sometimes this will be done to “promote righteousness. In the New Age, the only “sin” is to be “the sin of separation.” Cf. Promisekeepers, eastern religions rites, “Native American Spiritualities,” and small group processes.

A United Russia Moves Forward – Nickel Mines, Accelerating Gold & Foreign Reserves, New Space Launch Facilities and much much more

What Does Vladimir Putin and Alice Cooper Have In Common?

An Acclerating Russia!

As Russia continues to deal with NATO’s muscle flexing, Putin is pretty much guaranteed a Parliament seat if not the next Prime Minister position.

Russia’s accelerating prosperity secures the world’s leading nickel producer, a new Space launch facility and begins new era of self sufficiency by producing it’s own plastic and assorted chemical plants and establishing a New Detroit of auto manufacturing in St. Petersburg.

Strengthened relations with China, Iran, even new planes for Iran and tighter restrictions on it’s own river oil shipments, a leaner Russia is forming.

It has exceeded its Gold and Foreign Reserve projections and is even becoming an attraction to Rock Artists like Alice Cooper.

Although Russia’s ascendancy grows and the U.S. dollar plummets there are some things to consider along side of purchasing Gold and Silver coins.

Adventure Saga Film "Aquarian Gospel" To Blend Indian, Buddhism and Meditation - Drew Heriot Is Directing

Photo Illustration: AFP/Getty Images (Jesus); Courtesy of Warner
Brothers (300)

Jesus as Action Hero?

Drew Heriot (doesn't that name sound like Iscariot?) director of Aquarian Gospel

The upcoming action adventure saga film "Aquarian Gospel" will be directed by "Secret" self-help documentary director Drew Heriot set for release in 2009.

"The film, which will be directed by Drew Heriot, will chronicle Jesus’ journeys from Israel through India, Tibet, Persia, Greece and Egypt, and his encounters with people of all creeds, classes and faiths".

"I literally felt goose bumps when Will told me this story, and knew immediately it was my next project," Heriot said

Todays modern day spiritual leaders will be making cameo roles in the movie as well as an international pool of actors from the Middle East, India, the Far East, Europe and America.

William Keenan ("Poor Things") is producing with Thaddeus Carlson co-exec producing shooting on U.S. soundstages.

The missing years of Jesus will be portrayed as well as the Battle of Thermopylae.

"We think that Indian religions and Buddhism, especially with the idea of meditation, played a big part in Christ’s thinking. In the film, we are looking beyond the canonised gospels to the ‘lost’ gospels," said William Keenan, the producer.

"We are looking at new themes. In our story, Jesus was loyal to the untouchables (in India) and he defended them with his life by saying that everyone could read the Vedas," he added".

Trailer for the movie will soon be arriving.

Aquarian Gospel set for Hollywood Bollywood movie - Global Action Hero Jesus, 3 Wise Men and a Beautiful Young Princess Will Fill Jesus' Missing Years

The Aquarian Gospel is finally set to be released in 2009 as a full length Hollywood Bollywood feature film.

Jesus' "missing years" will finally be addressed. Set between the ages of 13 and 30 the young man Jesus is guided by his three wise men godfathers in an understanding of people, culture and religion. Blending Buddhist and Hindu faiths Jesus is portrayed as an action hero for social and just causes.

A possible love interest with a young and beautiful princess is in the works (I could easily see Aishwarya Rai as the princess and maybe even a Johnny Depp type as the college age Jesus), sealing the deal for a United World Religions climax.

This film will definitely carry an historical weight for the United Nations program The Alliance of Civilizations.

The year 2009 will have many paradigms in place to be absorbed or expelled.

European Neighborhood Policy Biggest Player Behind Current Investigation in Cisco Systems Computer Shipment To SYRIA

In a FoxNews article three U.S. agencies are NOW looking at whether Cisco Systems should have shipped "sensitive" computer technology to Syria.

Apparently the U.S. in its war against terrorism has been quietly supporting the UN to help the Syrian government to "maintain its borders" since three years ago.

But believe it or not, the main player behind this is the EUROPEAN UNION, "Even though UNDP (the United Nations Development Program) and the Bush Administration had significant roles in the customs project, the biggest player is clearly the European Union. Ever since 2004 — the same year the Bush Administration announced its trade embargo against Syria — the E.U. has been dangling a strategy of enhanced trade relations with countries on the southern edge of the Mediterranean as part of a “European Neighborhood” policy aimed at expanding the E.U.’s economic sphere of influence".

Oh yes.

I'm sure that "sphere of influence" will soon be felt at the upcoming Annapolis Summit where Javier Solana has been quoted as "hoping Syria will attend". Now I wonder why Mr. Solana wants Syria there?

Strange bedfellows eh?

Oh and stranger still, Olmert and Barak desire for Syria to be at the Annapolis Summit. Yes, thats right, Jerusalem and Damascus may be able to start a new positive future.

Remember, Syria has been regarded as a "terrorist" nation according to the U.S.
And also remember during a recent Israeli jet attack in Syria it was alleged that a warehouse which was destroyed was really a North Korean nuclear reactor, but let's not get all bent out of shape, right?

Maybe the devil is just in the details. Certainly the devil is being felt by some in U.S. Foreign Diplomacy.

At least now we see Syria is on the right path to "Democracy". She's tightening her borders all the way to the Euphrates River.

Wow!! The Euphrates River. What do You think?

Transatlantic Relations + European Neighbors = _______ (You Fill In The Blank - I don't want to say it)

But just NOTE: The 7 Year Agreement Javier Solana created, called the European Neighborhood Policy Instrument - ENPI), supersedes the U.S. War On Terrorism; it has, even before all of this.

U.N. urges NATO to stop Afghan opium trade

"UNITED NATIONS (CNN)
-- The United Nations is calling on NATO to do more to stop the Afghan opium trade after a new survey showed how the drug dominates Afghanistan's economy".

Big big big biiiiiigggg money is made with opium coming from Afghanistan and the U.N. knows it.

A record year for opium out of Afghanistan was not derailed by NATO security forces. 660 tons of heroin and morphine came out of Afghan farms in 2007.

Big Big big biiiiiggggg money is made.

"The November 07' Russian Friday" continues - New Bloc Is Birthed From Within Europes OSCE

Russia lines up OSCE member countries to form new Russian bloc.

Six countries from
the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) -- Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan from within the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) has joined Russian proposals that can possibly jeopardize NATO and institute a new rival regional "grey area" for Russia. Russia wants to beef up OSCE against NATO.

"
To date, the OSCE lacks most of the attributes of an organization. Despite the word “Organization” in its title, the OSCE remains essentially a Conference, as it was originally named (Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe -- CSCE). Russia hopes to build up the OSCE into an all-European security body and counterpose it to NATO, particularly in Europe’s East. This is why most Western countries have long resisted turning the OSCE into a full-fledged organization.

Accompanying all of this is a new charter in regards to the opium in Afghanistan,

"
The Russia-led group has also distributed a proposal to create an “anti-narcotics safety belt” on Afghanistan’s northern borders, based on cooperation between the OSCE and the CSTO. Meanwhile, Russia seeks unsuccessfully a similar arrangement of the CSTO with NATO, implying a bloc-to-bloc relationship. The United States and NATO countries are careful to avoid that implication. They favor participation by Russia and Central Asian countries in their national capacities, not as CSTO, in curbing the Afghan narcotics traffic. Tajikistan had originated the anti-narcotics safety-belt proposals almost a decade ago and reaffirmed it many times in its national capacity. However, Moscow’s proposal is primarily a political maneuver, seeking international recognition and legitimization of the CSTO. The OSCE seems to be a relatively soft target in this regard. It maintains regular official contacts with CSTO Secretary-General Nikolai Bordyuzha and sent its own Secretary-General, Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, to attend the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit in October in Dushanbe".

"The November 07' Russian Friday" continues with many many surprises. Sifting through the news for you.

Russia Will Send Nuclear Fuel To Iran

"A matter of principle" will fulfill Iran's nuclear energy which will be sent by Russia.

Here is another trump over Javier Solana, NATO, Israel and his western counterparts.

Iran's first of many atomic power stations will receive uranium from Russia to fuel it.

Russia has complied with the UN nuclear watchdog IAEA,

"In a report on Iran issued on Thursday, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said it had "made arrangements to verify and seal the fresh fuel foreseen (for Bushehr) on Nov. 26, before shipment of the fuel from Russia to Iran".

Russia has so far given no concrete date for when it will send the nuclear fuel to Bushehr, but says it would be sent six months before the plant's repeatedly delayed start-up. According to Russian forecasts, the reactor at the plant could be started up in 2008 and nuclear fuel would have to arrive at the plant six months before that".

Note* No mention in regular American mainstream media. You have to find this info as it happens or it will slip by. Downplay and distract is how you react to a day like today.

Fast and furious is the name of the game on the Transatlantic Relations Chess Board.

Russian Federation Council Officially Ends CFE Treaty - Check!

It's official.

The Russian Federation Council today, 11-16-07, has unanimously agreed to abandon the Conventional Forces in Europe (CFE) treaty agreeing with the State Duma's decision from 11-7-07 .

Citing Russian security and archaic Post Cold War ideology, Vladimir Putin's moratorium suspends the CFE Treaty beginning December 12, 2007.

This move by Russia sets an historical precedent that will cap this years end to Russian dormancy in regards to its security.

"In other moves contributing to Cold War-style tensions, Putin and other top Russian officials this year have renewed long-distance strategic bomber patrols, as well as threatened to retarget nuclear missiles at European cities, and to withdraw from other bedrock disarmament treaties".

Despite what European Union Javier Solana's upcoming recommendations are with Iran and Israel and the Annapolis Summit, he's just been put in Check by Russia.

"Riding a tide of petrodollars and growing influence on key international issues such as the Iranian nuclear programme and the status of Kosovo, Russia's authorities are in no mood to compromise".

IF NATO countries can ratify the modified version Russia COULD resume its pact, BUT, Russia has already started work on a NEW Federal Programme for the development of its armed forces. This is an end to an historic arms treaty and the beginning to a new global security paradigm.

A new Russian security plan will be unveiled shortly.

NATO in Afghanistan - The Big Mission Is At Stake and So Is Its Broader Future

There is so much at stake in Afghanistan. I don't even want to think about it at times.

How much do you ask?

Well, there are some foreign policy experts that believe NATO's Future Is Potentially At Stake.

Even the Brookings Institution see The Bigger Mission in Afghanistan which recently held "discussions" in regards to this issue.

Yes, Pakistan is mentioned. Oh yeah, and so are record opium crops!

But don't believe me, lets read what the"foreign policy experts" generally believe,

"In Brief,
With the expansion of the European Union and the rise of transnational threats like terrorism, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) must redefine its security and transatlantic diplomacy role for the 21st century.
NATO's takeover of the military presence in Afghanistan is the beginning of a broader international function".

NATO Strategic Concepts are really not defined. Operations and political agendas are only made known. Dialogue and cooperation changed concepts of “enemy to challenges and threats to risks”. Imposing peace through force became widely known through the Strategic Concept of 99’ after the Balkans. “Providing insurance against the unknown” justified NATO’s existence after the Cold War in 91’.

The Strategic Concept of 99’ brought NATO’s theory into practice. Germany’s Merkel and NATO’s Schefer continues to promote NATO’s 2009 concept because of a radically changing world justifies actions and relevance, a need for a new vision and anticipating the future should set tasks that will withstand the test of time.

Expect the Concept for 2009 to say a lot. NATO’s continued growth will be larger. NATO is progressing towards non-benign operations. NATO members will work as a block. “Civilian Forces” will play a role. “The Alliance For Freedom” of 2005 can best summarize NATO today: At war against Islamic Radicalism, but vague on missions in progress, collective defense and attacks made by sub-state groups.

NATO continues to carry out counter-terrorism surveillance. Cooperation with Russia is dissipating at a rapid and alarming rate, which requires new never before collective policies, look at “Energy Security” as one issue. The transformation into “new things” is necessary.

The creation of a new consensus is of the up most importance. The rifts between the U.S. and European military interventions are events of contention. There are deeper forces at work in regards to these heightened tensions among the Allies. 9/11 caused the alliance to address the same issue but implement opposite responses. The EU looks at the war on terror as illegitimate and the U.S. looks at the EU as weak militarily. Do not count on a new U.S. President in 2009 to resolve this issue. Under France's current conditions for re-incorporation into NATO, it will not occur.

The EU is “Iron and Clay” the sum of the weaknesses of all its members. The U.S. and the French are not optimistic in regards to the NATO Summit of 2009 with its unveiling of a “New Strategic Concept”. The U.S wants NATO to be a vehicle of action. France wants a joint defense force for Europe. NATO will more than likely draft a marginal concept to suit its doubters.

Afghanistan is the “ACID TEST” whatever the outcome. NATO must transform itself THERE as it carries out its mission. “Collective Unity” will be defined in Afghanistan. IF A 9-11 EVENT OCCURS IN AFGHANISTAN provisions of Article 5 will be implemented. “Collective Defense” cannot end in failure in Afghanistan.

Therefore, expect a new marginal concept to address the rift of its allies and emphasis on greater action. A new future view. NATO cannot continue to perform isolated operations with no goal. Spain and Partido Popular wants a new concept that is feasible and achieves goals such as protecting our territory, unified talks regarding security matters that fall outside NATO's sphere of action like “immigration flows” and attention to North Africa.

Elaborations of the new concept will begin by Spring 2008, though, if Zapatero wins our election we cannot be active in contributing, but if Partido Popular wins we can bring in new ideas.

Warning! The deadline for 2009 may be too late to formulate the new strategic concept due to the American Presidential elections. “This would be a veritable race against the clock”

"US obsession with the Iranian threat and with finding an exit strategy from the Iraqi quagmire made Washington less attentive to Turkey’s legitimate vital national interests, says Nicola Nasser
a veteran Arab journalist in Kuwait, UAE, Jordan and Palestine; based in Bir Zeit, West Bank of the Israeli-occupied territories".

Though tensions seem to continue prior to the Annapolis Summit this view from a Pro-Arab-Palestinian journalist should still be archived for future reference. Particular interest to NATO expansion southward, Turkey, U.S. Counter-terrorism strategies and OIL beckons resolution.

Could international resolution be around the corner?

Will the Annapolis Summit finally solidify that we are indeed in Daniel's 70th Week?

Are parts of John Walvoord's Armegeddon, Oil and The Middle East Crisis becoming reality?

As each expression of fulfilled bible prophecy continues to be painted around and before us I pray we not ignore the changing colors of the fig leaves.

Arab Peace Initiative Strengthened By Germany - A Qualified Solution To Peace In The Middle East

Photo: Getty Images

"Germany with its strong economic and political position is qualified to play an effective role to establish peace in the world" says Suadi Arabian King Abdullah.

"(King) Abdullah highlighted the problems facing the Middle East and sought Germany’s help to defuse the explosive situation in the region, remove weapons of mass destruction and enhance international cooperation to combat terrorism in order to reinforce peace and stability in the world".

Wait a minute. I thought it was Javier Solana.
Wait a New York second, I thought it was the Middle East Quartet.
Wait just a dog gone minute, I thought the United Nations and the Alliance of Civilizations unified faiths movement would have all the Middle East sing, "We are the world, we are the yada yada".

No.

It's Germany?

Yikes! Thank you Dorothy Margraff for sharing with all of us on Constance Cumbeys most excellent blogsite the find of Harry Beckhough. I greatly encourage reading of his great paper entitled "Germany's Four Reichs". Click on my links section to check it out.

"Germany intends to have a strong strategic partnership relation with Saudi Arabia, considering its vital position in the Arab and Islamic world and its economic weight”.

When I read this article I would have never guessed there was such a STRONG Saudi-German relation. Ever.
At least none that was brought to my attention.

“He (King Abdullah) also emphasized the Kingdom’s desire to strengthen cooperation with Germany. “I am confident that the future of Saudi-German relations will be bright,” he added.

Wow, as the times we live in move faster and faster all I can see is a beautiful Betty Davis saying to us all, "Fasten your seat belts. It's going to be a bumpy night".

EU NATO Strategy With Russia: The Art of Downplaying

When you are a politician and are publicly losing ground on an issue the tactic to counter is to downplay and distract away.

Case in point is Russia's ferocious appetite for "Security: Military and Energy" and Europe's scattering to retain composure.

Without a doubt this year will be remembered as, "The Year The Bear Woke Up".

If we were to quickly summarize and chronicle all of Russia's steps this year from its hibernating cave we would see two primary agendas:

1. A new re-vitalization of its military
2. A dominant acquisition in energy

These two campaigns will remain at the forefront of Russian Security despite everything Javier Solana, NATO and The U.S. try to do. No matter how many red herrings are brought to the public eye such as Iran, Georgia, Afghanistan, Kosovo, please do not be swayed.

Keep your eye on the ball.

The issues of a war in Iran or the problems of helping countries to set up "democracies" is just a ruse, especially if it is in regards to Russia. There are too many non publicly acknowledged reports, exhaustive articles from think tanks and commentaries/opinions that are setting the map. One such article in regards to Iranian Nuclear Energy is here, "
Russia stresses Iran's right to access to peaceful nuclear technology".

Here is another article in regards to the issue of Moldova, "Russian decision to suspend European arms control treaty scares Moldova". You would think that since Russia, as of this past summer 2007, has been proclaiming an ending to its agreement with the Conventional Forces of Europe Treaty, that Europe especially would be making as many concessions to pursuade Russia to remain intact. But, in the Global Governace eyes of European and American strategists that see it as fruitless, why bother. Why focus on the lower Russian Parliament passing unanimously an ending to the CFE Treaty by December 12, 2007. Lets try a different approach.

Plan B: Lets sway public opinion.

Focus on an uncooperative and hostile Russia. An uncompromising Russia that is aggressive. Besides, they won't dare to end the CFE Treaty and in the mean time we can put a negative lamplight on Russia. Then, public pressure will work for us. Russia will have to remain and fall in place. Surely they will not end it by December 12. Russia is bluffing. "NOT".

I personally pray the Western and ally strategy works, but it won't. I would never ignore the steps of a Russian bear from hibernation. He's hungry and he's ready to roam.

Keeping my eye on the ball, taking time to sift through the news to see the larger canvass.

Russia Freezes Europe Arms Treaty - Javier Solana and NATO Scrambles

Russia has decided to suspend, freeze, temporarily put on hold, scrap, the European arms treaty known as The CFE Treaty (Conventional Forces in Europe Treaty).

Javier, NATO and The U.S. scramble. Focus on Russian military bases in Georgia and Moldova is in question, ""Russia's threat to suspend implementation of the current CFE Treaty is a matter of serious concern to the United States and to our NATO allies".

Russia is planning to re-deploy security measures near its western flank.

Fast and furious are the times we live in.

Sifting the news.

Although Javier Solana and NATO Condemns Afghanistan "Suicide Attack", Suspicion and Distrust are rapidly surfacing

As reported in my October 29, 2007 summary of the Switzerland Think Tank article, "Prospects For A New NATO Strategic Concept", in which it briefly mentioned that a 9-11 event in Afghanistan could possibly bring NATO on the fast track for "TRANSFORMATION", could the Tuesdays bombings in Afghanistan have started this transformation? Though 9-11 on an Afghanistan scale would have to be smaller and high impacting as oppose to America I really pray this was not it.

On Tuesday November 6, 2007 it was originally reported that a "suicide bomber" killed himself, civilians and Afghanistan Political officials while they were visiting a sugar factory in Baghlan in the Northern part of Afghanistan. That morning I noticed on FoxNews.com it was briefly highlighted as breaking news but by noon it was gone. By late evening reports became scattered and unclear until this morning. Already, condemnation had poured in from Javier Solana, NATO, The UN, The U.S. and was reported as far as China, and in The New York Times. The suicide bomber and his Taliban colleagues were to blame.

But, thanks to other news sources it is also being reported that the "suicide bombing attack" is in HIGH SUSPICION. It appears that this may have been an assassination targeting Sayed Mustafa Kazemi, an influential opposition lawmaker and a former commerce minister to the current Afghanistan government. The attack also raised questions. It was reported The Taliban denied involvement but also strongly condemned the attack. And It is also being reported that a female member of parliament that was scheduled to be with the delegation has said that this was not a suicide bomb but rather a missile attack. Distrust and tensions are mounting in Afghanistan

I pray that "Transformation" is not in gear, otherwise the world may be in for the ride of our lives.
Will continue to sift through all the facts.

Transatlantic Relations Will Greatly Strain Under Russian Energy Monopoly

Brief summary of the exhaustive article

"Europe's Strategic Dependence on Russian Energy"
By: Ariel Cohen
The Heritage Foundation
November 5, 2007

Because Russia is increasing its hold on oil and gas, Europe's energy security is in jeopardy thus putting U.S. Transatlantic Relations in jeopardy.

Many EU nations are setting up individual contracts with Russia. Europe as a whole imports 82% of its oil and 57% of its natural gas. The EU and the U.S. should find a solution to remedy this by: ending the
oligopolistic energy supplier—Russia, find other energy transportation routes, force Russia into full compliance with the Energy Charter .

Europe's hunger for energy depends greatly on Russia. Russian strategy locks European countries into long term contracts, controls energy pipelines, signs exploration and supply agreements with other countries preventing exporting to the west and is forming government owned oil and gas companies. A new addition to this is Russia is forming a Natural Gas OPEC with Argentina, Bolivia, Venezuela, Iran and Qatar.

Thus three trends are appearing:
1. European energy consumption and import dependency is rising
2. European energy supply routes are too concentrated
3. European leaders are partly responsible

Because of all of this Europe should expect higher energy prices and disruptions. These developments are a negative to the U.S.

Russia will use their energy control to advance their anti-American agenda. The EU and the U.S. have to remedy these situations otherwise
NATO expansion to the Ukraine and Georgia, ballistic missile defense, Kosovo, and U.S. and European influence in the post-Soviet space will be hampered if not eliminated.

Afghanistan & Pakistan: Global Gangster Governance Opium Wars

Javier Solana Decries Foul in Pakistan
and

Tries To Resuscitate Afghanistan Law With New EU Police Mission

What draws all these players to the same table?

***OPIUM***

It's no secret that governments and their power players have always tapped into the control, manipulation, and money of illegal drugs. Ever since the Opium Wars (Anglo-Chinese Wars) from 1839 to1860 when Britain was caught smuggling opium into China, wherever drugs are major money can be made. Opiates are on the minds of the United Nations as well as The Council On Foreign Relations, which has caught wind of the 2007 Opium Production In Afghanistan.

The problem that most people overlook is that this kind of money is soooo big its sometimes too hard to hide. The case in point has been the CIA Wall Street drug money laundering that has been documented by whistleblowers such as Michael Ruppert. In his book "Crossing The Rubicon" he basically states "The CIA is Wall Street, Wall Street is the CIA and Drug Money is King".

So it should not surprise us that Javier Solana and his NATO forces are encountering trouble in Afghanistan. His newest endeavor to issue a "New EU Police Mission" there will only continue to face harsher resistance with the possibility of failure. An article published in the New York Times testifies to the fact that although the government has halted opium fields in Afghanistan its replacing it with another cash crop "Marijuana".

The same applies to Pakistan. A major drug route as well as a supplier, huge drug monies are being fought over as we speak. New "political agendas" are being created to side the public away from illegal opium use for a healthier 'Legal" use, of course, under EU supervision of the narcotic.

So who will gain control over the poppies?

In the current Hollywood movie "American Gangster" we are lead to feel and sympathize with the protagonist gangster Frank Lucas (Denzel Washington). So, will public opinion be swayed over to the "War On Terror and Democracy" in regards to Afghanistan and Pakistan?

Well, either way you look at Global Gangster Governance is in its own Opium War and our man of the Hour is right in the middle of it.
